A Short Online Series
“Well being is a condition one has to groom, a condition one has to become acquainted with in order to seek it.” – Carlos Castaneda
As described by Carlos Castaneda in the book Magical Passes; The Practical Wisdom of the Shamans of Ancient Mexico, the movements known as Magical Passes, were discovered by Shamans in ancient times.
The Seers of his lineage experienced an “extraordinary sensation of wellbeing when they were in shamanic states of Heightened Awareness.”
These seers soon realised that whilst in these states of Heightened Awareness, their bodies were engaging in specific kinds of bodily movements, which created a sense of “physical and mental plentitude”.
To empower our wellbeing as we start 2022, we are offering this two-class Tensegrity series, learning some of the essential movements and provide you with practices to support your health through Winter and beyond.
Tensegrity is the modern name for a group of practices which includes the Magical Passes, ancient movements of body and breath, as well as practices which promote Dreaming, Inner Silence and Life-Review.
We warmly welcome newcomers to our classes and offer a discount if this is your first event with Concord Institute, for details, please see below.
Concord Institute Facilitators have been trained and certified by Cleargreen, the organisation founded by Carlos Castaneda to teach and promote Tensegrity. To learn more about the Facilitator, Charlotte Hopper, click here.
This series consists of two online classes on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 9pm (UK time):
Wednesday 12 January
